About
Hi, I'm Prof. J.
I run ACC Network, a daily AI newsletter and learning community for anyone curious about AI, written in plain English so you can follow along whether you are on day one or shipping your tenth project.
I'm a builder, a taxi driver, and the host of the AI Builders Showcase. I co-host weekly AI Spaces on X. Most days you can find me writing code between fares, shipping side projects on stolen hours, and trying to translate what is actually happening in AI into language a normal person can use.
Right now I'm shipping a few things at once. Prep2Eat is a meal planning app heading to Google Play. LocalGlowUp is a local-business web agency. ACC Network is the daily AI newsletter you are reading about. Around all of that I run a handful of small agents and bots that keep my own workflow moving when I am on the road or asleep.
The newsletter started as a tool I built for myself: an AI news bot that posted a categorized daily summary to my Discord. It was useful enough that I started sharing it. Then I realized I wanted to write the summary myself, in plain English, for the people in my life who keep asking me "what should I actually try?" That is the version you get in your inbox every weekday.
Why ACC Network
A newsletter for everyone, not just engineers.
Most AI newsletters are written by people deep in the weeds, for other people deep in the weeds. That is fine, but it leaves out the much bigger group of people who hear about AI every day, want to use it, and have no idea where to start.
ACC Network is for that group first. Each weekday issue covers the model releases, vetted tools, robotics news, courses, jobs, and X Spaces that matter, and explains why they matter in language a beginner can follow. If a story has jargon, the jargon gets unpacked. If a tool sounds important, you learn what it actually does and whether it is worth your time.
More advanced builders are welcome here too. The directory exists for people showing off the work they ship. Sunday Deep Dives go long-form on the harder questions. But the front door is and will stay: this is for anyone curious about AI.
